WETA Narnia Minoboar Design Maquette
Minotaurs are to bulls as Minoboars are to pigs- part man, part boar. Burly and strong, the Minoboars are foot soldiers in the White Witch's army, able to disrupt entire enemy lines with their vicious charges. They carry no weapons, preferring to inflict grievous wounds with rusty blades and spikes on their armour and their large, sharp tusks.
Design Maquettes are quick sculptures used to refine the design of a creature beyond drawings and paintings, allowing the concept to be realised in a three dimensional form.
This Minoboar maquette is close to the final form the character takes in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe film and has been cast directly off the original maquette the Weta Workshop team used during the design phase. The accompanying booklet provides a detailed story of the maquette's design process.
This Narnia Minoboar maquette was sculpted by Weta Workshop's Stephen Crowe. It measures approximately 12 inches H (305mm) x 8.5 inches W (216mm) x 7 inches L (178mm).
This is a limited edition of 3,000 pieces!
